The South Jersey Wheelmen Cycling Club
was organized in 1979. Its original purpose was to serve the needs of recreational and touring cyclist. It continues with that purpose today. The club is based in the Vineland area, but organized rides extend throughout Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties New Jersey.
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month except December. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm. Go to Club Meetings for up to date location and other information.

During the summer months, the club usually organizes weekly rides. Check under Weekly Club Rides for details. Along with the website, rides are posted in advance in our newsletter, The Spoke 'n Word. The distance and difficulty of each ride is noted. An effort is made to have rides appropriate for all members abilities.

Our fall convention is an organized biking vacation. Included is a brief meeting to discuss basic club concerns supported with plenty of popcorn and beverages.
Our Annual Jersey Devil Century
Our big September Century ride, offers routes of
25, 50, 75, & 100 miles. Along with the great routes we feature an outstanding “picnic” at the end of your ride complete with hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, salads, baked good and a beautiful setting at Parvin St Park.
Held in late August, our Vermont trip always has a good price, beautiful scenery, outstanding cycling, and great beer. It doesn't get any better than that. Click Special Club Events to read the details.
