| The Jersey Devil Century is the club's premier ride. Started in 1979, this is the 31st year of the Jersey Devil. The ride takes place when temperatures are starting to wind down and the summer traffic has ebbed. Registration, parking, and the ride start, are at the main parking lot and beach area of Parvin State Park. The route wanders in and out of three southern New Jersey counties: Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem where the terrain is flat to slightly rolling. Start anytime between 8 am to 10 am and ride at your own pace. After tackling the first 27 mile or 50 mile loop, the ride returns to the park for one of the best food stops of the summer. You may then continue onto the second 50 mile loop. This allows you the options of 25, 50, or 100 miles for the day. A water stop is provided about halfway through each 50-mile loop. Stores and delis are located along the way. Cue sheets, painted road markings and sag wagon services are provided. In addition to food, the entry fee includes a give away item. In past years these have included sew-on patches, high quality water bottles, first aid kits, and tube patch kits. This year we are considering several new items. Fee for South Jersey Wheelmen members is $10.00 which includes the give away item. Club T-Shirts are available for purchase at the ride. Come out and enjoy! Porta-potties
