Vermont Ride and Vacation
- 2010 It's
time again to plan for our annual trip to the Inn
at LongTrail in Vermont (directions).
The club has been going here each August for quite some time.
The
trip is open to anyone club member or not. Here are the details
(please note, these prices have NOT changed from last year). The
package is the same as always: 3 nights, 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners
all gratuity and tax included: Stay
an extra night (includes breakfast,
gratuity and tax) either before
or after, rates per person (in above order) are: $69.60,
$40.80, $60. Not staying at the Inn but joining us for Dinner in the Dining Room: $30 includes gratuity and tax. We
usually begin to arrive on Thursday afternoon and most get together
for dinner at a local eatery. There are MANY to chose from near the
Inn. We ride on Friday, Saturday and often on Sunday mornings.The
routes are not always the same, although by tradition Friday's ride
is to the birthplace of Calvin Coolidge in Plymouth. Afternoons
are
spent playing tourist. There is much to do in this area of New
England. For your added pleasure, the Inn has its own pub serving
good
food
and wonderful beer and spirits. Evening entertainment is provided
by the Irish bands that are booked at the pub. Many riders bring
a
non-cycling significant other since there is SO much to do. |
