DIRECTIONS TO: RUTLAND, VERMONT and The INN AT THE LONG TRAIL
*From Woodbury NJ: About 6.5 to 7 hours with good traffic.
*INN: 800-325-2540
Go north on Route 295 to exit 36.
East on Route 73 to NJ Turnpike North
Turnpike North to exit 11.
North on Garden State Parkway 45 miles to New York Thruway. At the
end of the Parkway traffic splits at a "Y". Take the left
lane toward "Suffern-Albany".
North on New York Thruway to exit 24. (Keep to the right going thru
the toll gate)
Route 87 N, (former Northway). 50 miles to exit 20
At the traffic light, left onto Route 9L. About ½ mile at blinker
light turn right onto Route 149.
At Fort Ann, left onto Route 4 East. (Continue on Rt 4 thru Whitehall
to Rutland.)
In Rutland stay on Route 4 to the end of the freeway. Turn left and
stay on Route 4.
About 8 miles east of Rutland you will see the Pico Ski Mountain sign
on your right. The Inn at Long Trail is a half mile beyond on your
left.
*Alternate route thru North Jersey:
Shortly after the third toll on the Garden State Parkway exit from
the left lane onto Route 17.
Route 17 north connects with the New York Thruway at Ramapo.
This alternate route saves about 6 or 7 miles. Also there are eating
places and gas stations on Route 17. Gas is much cheaper in New Jersey
than on the New York Thruway
