Wheelmen Rides
Sunday December 9 9:00 a.m. The Franklin Parker Explorer https://www.njconservation.org/html/gfa-pinebarrens.htm
Expect about 3+ hours of riding, an easier
pace, perhaps 15 +/- miles. The plan is to explore trails in the
area of APH, plus the
Franklin Parker Preserve.
Meet: at Nixon’s general
store at 9:00 am, for SUV caravan/car pool (SUV pool encouraged – limited
parking, soft sand roads), we’ll drive from Nixon’s to the start
point. Start point is 6 miles East on 532 to South Park, ½ mile South
on White Horse (soft sand fire road) about 1/3 of the way to APH). If there
is a large turn-out we will drive the extra distance and park at
APH.
Warning: We will be exploring,
expect dead end trails, wrong turns, mandatory dismounts, less than finely groomed
trails, and copious
amounts of fun! Extraordinary amounts of good humor required. This
type of ride is usually what I did in the past solo, in an effort
to find some of the great trails that we ride in the Carranza area,
Mt. Devious, Jemima Mount, etc.

Saturday December 15 9:00 a.m. MTB ~ CLASS

easier pace, perhaps 15

head toward Carranza. No we do not eat Apple Pie, but we will smile
a lot.
